Audio and room combining systems at the Italian Center by Lewis Sound & Video, Waukesha, WI


Click any image to view enlarged	Italian Community Center Milwaukee, Wisconsin Opened in 1990 in the heart of Milwaukee's old Italian community, this 60,000 square foot conference center offers a large meeting venue near downtown. Lewis Sound was not the first sound contractor to work in the new facility; we were brought in only after two failed attempts by others to install a satisfactory system. The system we designed and installed includes A room-combining sound reinforcement system for the ballroom. A very carefully designed speaker system designed to overcome the bad effects of a very high, barrel-shaped ceiling in the ballroom. Sound reinforcement for Fiesta Hall, a large meeting room that seats 350. This system includes nine tightly focused 12" loudspeakers firing down from a high ceiling, chosen to minimize echo from highly reflective walls. Paging systems throughout the conference center Facility-wide zoned background music. The center's owner has been extremely pleased with the Lewis systems and has brought us back repeatedly for system updates over the years.
